IMPORTANCE OF APPLIED LINGUISTICS TO THE TEACHING OF

Applied Linguistics is a multidisciplinary science, as it takes into account other science of linguistics, psychology, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics and the Ethnography and the appropriate uses of the needs of the different languages and hereby to give both methods and technologies that indicate different tactics, by virtue of different limitations in the particular context of education - learning. Peter Strevens (1989:17) provides an updated definition of the concept: "Applied Linguistics is a multidisciplinary approach to the solution of language-related problems”.
The applied linguistics primary task is the study of a language as a means of education, a goal of education, and instrument control and social change. We are taught as we managed to employ systems language (phonetic, the syntax, semantic, pragmatic, etc.) Or defined to apply science in a field teaching and thus obtain a plan efficiently and thus acquire the best results.
