The Miracle of Life...: The Beautiful Experience of Being a Mother

Listen often that to be a mother was a very difficult and laborious responsibility, which you had to feel prepared as woman; that raising a baby is not easy, but after experiencing the wonderful feeling of being growing feeling in your womb for 9 months simply gives you the sufficient value to take up office with tenderness, and very much Love, the responsibility that accompanies a baby brings to the world. Maybe many people of my companions do not understand me but I am sure that when they deal this moment to be parents remembered my words.
I would like to introduce and share with many of you, as a small gesture of gratitude to my baby Douglas Alejandro Garcia Villarreal; He was born on March 29 at 11:21 in the morning, since somehow they formed a part of his development within the university from a gesture of tenderness to touch my belly to express words of good wishes for us, particularly in particular Nataly, Carmen, Gisenky, Dolaina, Yvonne, Gioconda, thank you for all the support they gave me and continue giving because they were not escaping in any classes of being babysitters.

The Importance of Applied Linguistics

Veronica was born in Lebanon. Nowadays she lives in Venezuela with her Lebanese family. Whenever they are with Venezuelans and her family speaks Lebanese she avoids answering back using the same code. On the contrary she switches the code and responds in Spanish. Why do you think she does it? (case 17)

Firstly I think that Veronica does this for sense of belonging because I believe that is considered Venezuelan despite being born in Lebanon, and by doing so breaks the wall with a little cultural possessing her family when only communicate in their language including conversation in Spanish language; Quiser to integrate the native language of where they live and the environment that surrounds them.

However, from my point of view integrate a language other than native language is not a problem, but perhaps if it is for Linguistics, where specific sciences as Psycholinguistics, Psychology, Ethnography, Sociolinguistics, they can study and solve these.

Moreover the study of the effect of any and all aspects of society, including cultural norms, and context, and the way we use it in different social situations concerning the Sociolinguistics, in my opinion is that science indicated for the case posed the sentence; because it wants to introduce veronica or modify the habit of talking only among themselves in language as the Lebanese environment that surrounds him only handles the Spanish language.

A major approach in sociolinguistics is code-switching than referring to using more than one language or variety in conversation. Bilinguals, who can speak at least two languages, have the ability to use elements of both languages when conversing with another bilingual; something that is evident in this case.

Moreover according to different research the Code-switching can be related to and indicative of group membership in particular, confirming that the foregoing.
One of the more complete theories of code switching within sociolinguistics is the Markedness Model, developed by Carol Myers-Scotton (1993). According to the markedness model, language users are rational, and choose a language that marks their rights and obligations relative to others in the conversational setting.
